Almost 1000 people joined together in support of the smallest citizens of Morris County — babies — by participating in the 2013 March for Babies to benefit the March of Dimes. Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison was packed with strollers, families and corporate teams helping to try to achieve the New Jersey goal of $3.6 million to help babies be born healthy.
Special guests at the day’s events included Paul Bisaro, Actavis, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer; Gary
Cason, Farmers Insurance Agency Point Director; Maria Moats, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Chief Diversity Officer and Chair of the March of Dimes North New Jersey Division Board of Directors; and March for Babies Co-Chairs Sarah Fitch and Nicole Berman, both from PricewaterhouseCoopers. Leading the walk was the Buchman Family, the Morris County March for Babies Ambassador Family.
“My family and I are very grateful to have Emily, our angel on earth Kyle, and our angel in heaven Tori in our lives. Our journey is similar to so many of you and my hope is that you (found) March for Babies to be a great way for you to honor and remember your children like we have with ours,” said Jennifer Buchman.
