The Montessori Children's Academy Accepting Applications for 2013-2014

The Montessori Children’s Academy of Convent Station is now accepting applications for the 2013-2014 school year.  Originally opened in Madison in 1999, the school expanded to include campuses in Chatham (2003) and Short Hills (2007), and relocated its Madison campus to Convent Station in 2010. The Montessori Children's Academy offers programs for children ages 2 ½ years through Kindergarten at all three campuses, as well as 1st through 6th grades at the Short Hills campus, and currently serves more than 450 families.   MCA is guided by the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian physician and educator who was passionately dedicated to the welfare and development of young children.

MCA offers both half and full day programs, with an Extended Hours program before and after school.  As part of MCA’s regular program, all children participate in weekly Spanish and Music classes, with Kindergarten and Elementary students also receiving instruction in Computers, Physical Education, and Health. In addition, The Montessori Children’s Academy has partnered with LEAF Approach to Enrichments to offer after school enrichment programs such as Yoga, Art, Digital Design, Music, and Educational Games.
