Car Burglaries Up In Florham Park Area, Police Warn
They shared some tips to prevent car break-ins.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ— Car burglaries have been up in the Florham Park area, police shared in a Facebook post, urging residents to be careful.
Police called the amount of burglaries to both cars and homes "unusually high," but shared tips to prevent them.
Residents should keep car and home doors locked at all times. Any type of valuables, including loose change, should be taken out of the car before locking it, and suspicious activity should be reported to police immediately.

Christmas night last year saw a spike in car burglaries in the area. 15 cars around the area of Tracey Lane, Troy Court, Madison Commons, Longview Ave, and Burnet Road in Madison were broken into, with another 5 cars on the Florham Park section of Burnett Road being broken into.
Between Dec. 22 and Dec. 28, another six cars were burglarized in nearby Parsippany.
