Columbus Day Parade Marches Through East Hanover
Ninth annual event honored James Gandolfini and others on Sunday.

The ninth annual Columbus Day parade marched through East Hanover Sunday afternoon.
The parade honored "The Sopranos" actor James Gandolfini as well as Newark Fire Department Chief John Centanni is Italian American Man of the Year; attorney Cristina Mirda was Italian American Woman of the Year; Entrepreneur of the Year honors go to Anthony & Sons Bakery; New York Police Officer Larry DePrimo was lauded as Humanitarian of the Year and young Riley Principe was the 2013 Parade Princess.
WPIX 11 Morning News anchor Dan Mannarino was this year's grand marshal and the emcee was Jeanine Strafacci, of News 12 New Jersey.
Among those marching in the parade were Assemblywoman Mila M. Jasey and Assemblyman John F. McKeon (pictured above).
