Aftermath Inc., a national crime scene cleanup and biohazard removal company, is honored to present the Essex County Sheriff’s Office with a $5,000 grant which will be used towards the department’s K-9 Unit. The Essex County Sheriff's Office is the winner of the 2014 "Aftermath Cares" campaign. The online contest is part of the company’s ongoing mission to recognize the dedication of law enforcement professionals nationwide.
A check presentation ceremony will be held Monday night, January 27th, at 7:30 at the Fairfield Police Department Headquarters. The Essex County Sheriff’s Office utilizes their K-9 Unit to assist with bomb threats, drug arrests, tracking of criminal suspects and lost persons, as well as other civic duties across Essex County.
