In need of a mini vacation this winter? Join Maestro Istvan Jaray and the acclaimed
Livingston Symphony Orchestra as they embark upon a musical journey around the
world on January 19, 2pm at Livingston High School, 30 Robert Harp Drive,
Livingston. Short classical excursions
include “Song Of India”, “In A Persian Market”, English Isle Suite, and
“Finlandia,” with possible side trips to the enchanted “Nutcracker Suite,” a budding musician’s first experience playing
Mozart with an orchestra, and a rousing Sousa March. Children under 12 who are accompanied by an
adult can “travel” for free, and complimentary Tofutti frozen dessert will be
enjoyed by all at concert’s end. Tickets
are available at the door or by calling 973-980-1809. Adults $20.00, Seniors
& Students $10.00. For more information on the concert or the orchestra,
