New Firm Approved To Head East Windsor Superintendent Search
The deadline to find a new superintendent for the East Windsor Regional School District has been extended.

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — The East Windsor Regional School District’s Board of Education has selected a new consultant to lead the search for a permanent superintendent.
Dr. William Librera of West Hudson Associates was approved to replace Dr. Ronald Bolandi at the Board of Education meeting Monday night, according to the district.
Bolandi removed himself from the search due to personal reasons, according to the district. The purpose of the search is to find a permanent replacement for Dr. Richard Katz.

A public forum that had been scheduled for Sept. 24 will now take place on Oct. 1, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Hightstown High School cafeteria. The forum will allow the district to receive input from the public on what qualities they feel the next superintendent should embody.
Also on Oct. 1, Librera will schedule meetings with various stakeholder groups in the district to identify key characteristics desired in the next superintendent. Various groups invited will include: central office administration, building administrator/supervisors, teachers, support staff, PTA/PTO leadership group, and Board of Education members.
He will then develop a profile of desired skills and attributes for the new superintendent that will then guide the interview process. Advertisements for the position will run for several weeks, beginning Sept. 19.
The interview process will then begin in early November with l interview screening with every candidate who fits the stakeholder group profile. Three to five top candidates will be invited for interviews with a committee of the board late November into December. Additional rounds will be scheduled for the final candidates.
Librera served as an educator for more than 40 years in New Jersey. He also serves as an advisor and consultant to national organizations. For more than 20 years, he was a superintendent in New Jersey school districts.
