• NJ woman seriously hurt by loose tire on Route 1 (wpgtalkradio.com) — A 59-year-old Teaneck woman was seriously injured Sunday night when a loose tire from a northbound car on Route 1 in South Brunswick bounced over the divider and smashed into her windshield. Police say the tire came from a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old from East Windsor, who received a summons while investigators still work to learn why the tire detached.
