Unused Medications Collected In East Windsor During 'Operation Medicine Cabinet'
East Windsor participates in the DEA-sponsored event Oct. 28.

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — East Windsor residents will have the chance to get rid of all unused, unwanted and expired prescription medications safely during “Operation Medicine Cabinet.” East Windsor Township will participate in the New Jersey Division of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) sponsored program on Saturday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The township’s drop box is set up in the lobby of the police/court building (80 One Mile Road) for the collection of these various medications. Medications collected during the event will be turned over to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration for final disposal.
The drop box is available to residents throughout the year, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mayor and council obtained the drop box from The American Medicine Chest Challenge.
