Wardlaw+Hartridge Seniors Bond At Annual Peer Leadership Retreat (tapinto.net) — Wardlaw+Hartridge seniors in Edison just wrapped up a three-day Peer Leadership Retreat that prepared them to mentor the incoming ninth-grade class. Edison students were heavily represented among the 15 peer leaders, who practiced communication, trust-building, and problem-solving. They'll now use those skills to welcome and support the Class of 2030 throughout the school year.

Edison Schools Accepted into National League of School Districts (tapinto.net) — Edison Township Public Schools have been selected as one of just 16 districts nationwide to join the prestigious League of Innovative Schools, connecting local educators with cutting-edge ideas and resources. Membership gives Edison access to national collaborations, research-backed strategies, and leadership support aimed at improving student outcomes and deepening community engagement in how schools innovate.

3. Lifetime Achievement Award Honors Late Natu Patel (hiindia.com) — Edison's Indo-American Cultural Association honored the late community leader Natu Patel with a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing more than 30 years of service. At a memorial in nearby Fords, Edison civic and cultural groups, including an Edison councilman and local senior and cultural organizations, gathered to celebrate his impact on Indian American community life across New Jersey.

4. Sister duo shines in Metuchen girls soccer's shutout win over J.P. Stevens (nj.com subscription) — Metuchen's girls soccer team earned a 5–0 shutout over J.P. Stevens in Edison, with sisters Sophia and Emma Ballantine combining for all five goals. The win, played on Stevens' home field in Edison, helped Metuchen bounce back from its first loss. Strong goalkeeping and multiple assists rounded out the Bulldogs' fourth shutout of the season.
