FRIDAY:

Pumpkin Land Festival
The largest fall festival in Northern NJ is in full swing. The Pumpkin Land Festival at Heaven Hill Farm in Vernon is open daily through October 28. Don’t miss this jam-packed fall festival with activities and entertainment for all ages!

Harvest Moon Hayride
Pack your flashlights and head to Chester for this truly spooky adventure! This haunting hayride in the dark takes place Friday and Saturday nights through October 27. Afterwards, stick around for music, refreshments, a campfire and more!

SATURDAY:

Tenafly Bike Rodeo
Round up your herd, saddle up those Schwinn’s and head to Tenafly this Saturday for a Bike Rodeo. Your kiddos will learn bike safety and obeying signals while being immersed in simulated traffic situations. Your little cowboys or cowgirls are sure to be best in show by the end of this Rodeo.

It’s a Hoot Puppet Craft
Lakeshore Learning Store offers free crafts each Saturday from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. This week your kiddos creativity will soar as they transform paper plates into loveable owl puppets.

Seasonal Scavenger Hunt
Here’s a great event that’s fun for the whole family. Stop by Tenafly Nature Center on Saturday between 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM to participate in an exciting scavenger hunt. Your family will receive a set of clues to help solve active nature riddles on the Nature Center trails. Each family will need to work as a team to complete the hunt and receive a small prize. This event is intended for adults and children 4 and up.
