MOOSUE STEFERN OF NEW JERSEY HITS RECORD JACKPOT OF $509,121 AT EMPIRE CITY CASINO

Empire City Casino (Yonkers, NY) has a new record slots jackpot payoff, and it’s in excess of a half million dollars. Moosue Stefern of Bergenfield, New Jersey hit the record $509,121.96 early this morning just after midnight (Friday, November 14), more than double the previous record, and the largest in the eight-year history of Empire City (opened in 2006).

The life-changing score emanated from a $10 bet at the Wheel of Fortune (Progressive) slot with a $5 denomination.

The former record at Empire City was $247,273 on September 21, 2009.

“We are always thrilled when an Empire City guest hits a six-figure jackpot,” said Michael Palmieri, Vice President of Slot Operations. “It’s obviously exhilarating for the winner, but it’s a big thrill for all of our guests and employees, as well. That the jackpot more than doubled the prior record is amazing, too.”
