Englewood Cliffs-based Breyers serving at Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl

Breyers dishes out ice cream to fight cancerat the 32nd annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® presented by Walgreens 

Englewood Cliffs, NJ – Breyers is serving more than 1,200 gallons of ice cream at the 32nd annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® presented by Walgreens, the nation’s largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival, which will be held on June 3, 4 and 5 at Boston’s City Hall Plaza. The company is donating one hundred percent of its ice cream, labor and staff time for employees to scoop at the event.

 

Breyers will be offering the following four flavors: Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry and Vanilla. Others dishing out more than 40 flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt include Baskin-Robbins, Ben & Jerry’s, Delish by Walgreens, Edy’s, Friendly’s, Garelick Farms, Hood and Yasso.

“Join one of New England’s best summer traditions, the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl,” said 2014 Jimmy Fund Co-Captain and Red Sox catcher David Ross. “You can sample more than 40 different kinds of ice cream or yogurt while supporting pediatric and adult cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute,” noted Jimmy Fund Co-Captain and Red Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks.

Rain or shine, the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® is open from noon – 8 p.m. Admission to the Scooper Bowl® is $10 for adults (ages 10 +), $5 for children (ages 3-9), and free for children who are under three years old. A three-day Scooper pass is $20. Tickets are available at the door, and online at www.scooperbowl.org.

 

Since its inception in 1983 the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® has raised more than $4.1 million for adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
