Englewood Students Showcase Artistic And Scientific Talents
Artwork and science experiments take center stage at Dr. John Grieco Elementary School's annual exhibition.
ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — Students' artistic and scientific talents were on display Wednesday at Dr. John Grieco Elementary School's annual Art of Science Exhibition.
The exhibition incorporated a science fair featuring experiments from Grieco’s third grade students. It also included artwork, which was mostly focused on nature subjects, created by first through third grade students. At the reception, the students who exhibited science experiments explained their work as visitors walked through the Media Center.
The students’ artwork included peacock watercolor paintings, tempera “Down on the Farm” paintings, chalk drawings of pandas, which focused on the book, "Chengdu," metalwork, and Chinese ink paintings. The artwork is on display through May 15.
