Leo is up for adoption at BC Protect & Rescue

My name is Leo and I am a short hair domestic orange and white male cat.  I came to the BC Protect & Rescue animal shelter on May 17, 2013 by an Animal Control Officer and was approximately 5 months old then.  At the time I had a very bad eye infection, which took the coloring out of my left eye, however I can still see with it due to medication and care from the volunteers at the shelter.  My other eye is yellow/green.  Now approximately, 1 year old, I am very friendly, I do love my toys, my hammock made by a shelter volunteer and love to be held.  People come to the shelter to adopt kittens and young cats like me, however they keep overlooking me because of my slight deformity.  I am perfectly healthy, loving and I am looking for my forever home.  I hope someone will overlook my imperfection as I have so much love and joy to give.

If you would like to meet me and adopt me, please contact me at BC Protect & Rescue located at 302 2nd St., Cliffside Park, NJ.  You can also call us at 201-945-0649.  Visit our website at www.BCRescues.org or facebook.com/bcrescues.  We would really love to meet you so you can visit us during shelter operation hours. M – by appointment, Tu, Th, & Fri. 12n – 5p, Wed.  11a – 7p, Sat 1p – 5p & Sun 12n – 4p.

If you cannot adopt me, would you please consider sponsoring me until I can find my forever home?  Volunteers really need help.
