Man In Custody Following Englewood Shooting: State Police
Odari Green, 37, was taken into custody after police saw him walking on the Garden State Parkway Tuesday, authorities said.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — A suspect is in police custody after a shooting incident in the city Tuesday morning, State Police said.
Odari Green, 37, of Hackensack, is suspected of a double shooting that occurred in Englewood Tuesday morning, said Sgt. Jeff Flynn.
Green was taken into custody after police found him walking on foot on the southbound side of the Garden State Parkway in Elmwood Park at 9:34 a.m., said State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn. State Police took Green into custody. Flynn would not say what Green was charged with.

School officials placed all district schools on lockdown following the shootings, Superintendent Edward Kravitz said. The lockdown was in place for about 40 minutes.
