Man Found With Loaded Handgun In Car In Englewood: Report

A Virginia man remains in the Bergen County Jail days after he was arrested last week on drug and weapons charges, police said.
Frederick Williams Jr. was arrested in Englewood Friday in the city’s 4th Ward, Englewood Detectives Capt. Timothy Torell said in a statement, NorthJersey.com reported.
Police found a handgun loaded with hollow-point bullets and drugs in a backpack inside Williams’ car, the website reported.

Williams was also charged with illegal possession of a knife and Xanax pills, The Record reported.
Williams arrest was the result of a special task force comprised of Englewood and Bergen County sheriff’s officers that addresses quality-of-life issues, police told the website.
