Sexual Assault Case Against Bergen County Teacher Dropped: Report

HACKENSACK, NJ — A Bergen County grand jury decided not to indict a former Leonia gym teacher who had a relationship with a 17-year-old student, according to a report.

Samantha Krakower, of Palisades Park, was arrested in April because of her sexual relationship with a student last school year.

Krakower was charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child. The grand jury did not return an indictment on any of these counts, the Bergen Record reported.
