Suspects Charged in Englewood Gas Station Beating

Five Bronx residents were arrested and a sixth turned herself in, according to police.

Five Bronx residents have been arrested as suspects in a beating and robbery at an Englewood gas station, according to NorthJersey.com report.

The event occurred at 2:30 a.m. on January 25 when two carloads of people coming from a party in Englewood pulled into the Mobil gas station on Route 4 East. They stole several items and beat the gas station attendant with the items and an ice scraper when he tried to stop them, the report states.

He suffered broken facial bones, according to the report.

The suspects are Michael Lauture, 18, Marcus Hairston, 18, Charles Ward, 21, Tyquan Strother, 18, Alonzo Richardson, 19, and Ebenita Wright, 51, the report states.
