Zumba lovers came out to sweat and support a great cause at THE GYM of Englewood’s charitable Zumba Party last month.
Honoring Autism Awareness Month, the Zumba Party raised over $1,000 and drew a crowd of 60 to THE GYM on April 27. All proceeds were donated to MarbleJam Kids.
"It was an unexpected surprise to see so many people come out to support us,” MarbleJam Kids Founder Anna Villa-Bager said. “This truly speaks of the spirited generosity THE GYM cultivates within their establishment. We are extremely grateful to each and every person who supported the event. The three, dedicated instructors knocked it out of the park!"

MarbleJam Kids is a New Jersey DDD authorized service provider of creative arts therapies and therapeutically supported after-school enrichment programs. THE GYM’s Zumba Instructors Chris SantaMaria, Hila Riva and Cat Veca led the party--featuring lots of moving, dancing, music and calorie burning.

“It was a great workout for the participants and a fantastic way to support MarbleJam Kids programs,” Nurit Chasman, Group Fitness Director at THE GYM of Englewood said. “We hope to make this an annual event at THE GYM.”
