• Man arrested in possession of stolen license plate in Fairfield (newportdispatch.com) — Fairfield police recently stopped a car on Route 46 West after an automated license plate reader flagged a stolen Florida plate, leading to the driver’s arrest. Officers say the Belleville man claimed he bought the car with the plate already attached. He was charged with receiving stolen property, issued several summonses, and released pending court.
