15 Fair Lawn Special Police Officers Graduate
The officers will assist with patrol, traffic, court, and community policing assignments.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Fifteen special police officers were graduated from the Bergen County Law and Public Safety Institute recently as part of the Special Law Enforcement Class of 2016.
The officers are all former auxiliary police officers. The Fair Lawn Police Department ended its auxiliary police program in favor of having more highly-trained special police officers, all of whom assist with patrol, traffic, court, and community policing assignments.
