The Jackals Experience

The Jackals Experience is a blog all about New Jersey Jackals baseball at Yogi Berra Stadium in Little Falls, NJ. Come out for Major League Fun at Minor League prices!!

The Jackals returned home from a three game series against the Worcester Tornadoes to take on the St. Paul Saints. New Jersey took two of three from Worcester over the weekend and their Monday night game against the Saints was rained out.

On Tuesday night, the Jackals had a double header starting at 5pm. Both games were seven inning games. The first game of the night started a little bit late due to a rain delay. Fans started really trickling in towards the end of the first game and for the beginning of the second. The first game ended in a Jackals 2-0 loss.

Tuesday night was Mardi Gras night at the stadium. Jackals employees were handing out beads to all fans in attendance. Fans redeemed their beads for a prize in the fifth inning.

Kids from the Franks Trucking Center Baseball team also known as the Orange Crush accompanied the hometown team out on to the field for the National Anthem. It was the first baseball buddies night of this young Jackals season.

Tuesday night was also Happy Hour Tuesday. It was 1/2 price draft beer, soda and water.

The Jackals won 3-2 in the night cap.

The Jackals were back at it on Wednesday morning against the St. Paul Saints for an 11:05am first pitch. It was the second school and business day of the season and fans came out in force and cheered the Jackals on to a big victory. New Jersey beat the Saints 9-2 and took the third game of this four game series.

Come out to Yogi Berra stadium on Thursday night for dollar beer night and to see the Jackals take on the Saints one last time.
