FAIR LAWN, NJ — There will be a fundraiser at the Dutch House Sunday to support the Milnes family, whose home was severely damaged by a fire Saturday.
The fire started in the basement and spread to the first floor before firefighters extinguished it. The family lost a lot of their possessions, including clothes, in the blaze.
For $40 donators get three hours of food and beverages. The event runs from 3 to 9 p.m. The Fire Department and Rescue Squad will run 50-50s and raffles throughout the event.
