Man Thrown Out Of Fair Lawn Restaurant Gets Arrested: Police
Dennis DeMarco, 58, of Garfield threw debris in the street and police arrested him after a warrant was found.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — A Garfield man was arrested after he was kicked out of a restaurant and threw things into the street Tuesday, police said.
Dennis DeMarco, 58, was removed from a restaurant and threw debris into the street near Broadway and Virginia Drive at 5:38 p.m., said Sgt. Brian Metzler.
Police investigated and arrested DeMarco who had a $1,500 warrant for his arrest issued out of Garfield, Metzler said.

- Detective Mark Wyka approached a suspicious person walking on Morlot Avenue at Canger Place Jan. 16 and arrested Geovanny Garcia, 27, of Paterson after he gave a false name during questioning, Metzler said. Garcia was charged with hindering apprehension, then handed over to the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department for an arrest warrant out of their jurisdiction, the sergeant said.
- Officer Geovanny Buitron initiated a motor vehicle stop on Maple Avenue near Route 208 and arrested the operator, William Jefferson, 51, of Paterson after arrest warrants were located out of Paterson totaling $200, Metzler said; Jefferson was released after bail was posted.
- Officer Juan Rodriguez and Officer Geovanny Buitron approached a suspicious man Thursday walking on Albert Avenue and arrested Matthew Zaledzieski, 38, of Prospect Park after arrest warrants were located out of Cedar Grove and Rochelle Park, Metzler said. He was handed over to Rochelle Park Police.
- Three police officers responded to ShopRite and arrested Debta Kozlowski, 57, of Hawthorne, after she was detained by store security after concealing $176.82 in unpaid items in reusable bags, police said. Kozlowskiwas was released after being charged with shoplifting.
