• Fair Lawn Fall Harvest Festival Brings 1800s Farm Life To Garretson Forge & Farm (patch.com) — Fair Lawn families are invited to step into 1800s farm life this October at Garretson Forge & Farm's Fall Harvest Festival. The free, all-ages event on River Road will feature costumed docents, Civil War reenactors, children's activities, historic classroom lessons, garden tours, and a chance to buy Garretson-grown produce, plants, and local goods.
   

• Fair Lawn Marks Fourth Annual Ezra Pollak Softball Tournament (jewishlink.news) — Fair Lawn residents packed John Alaimo Field at Berdan Grove Park for the fourth annual Ezra Pollak memorial softball tournament, which raised a record $3,435 for ZAKA. The increasingly professional, sponsor-backed event still centered on community, kids' activities, and honoring Ezra's memory, with local leaders and families turning out for spirited games and a popular kids' home run derby.
