Police Catch Fair Lawn Car Burglar Hiding Under Deck
Georgy Estevez, 24, was found with money, gift cards, and a cell phone on him, which he took from vehicles, police said.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Police caught a man they said burglarized several vehicles Saturday hiding under a resident's deck.
Five police officers responded to 30th and Rosalie streets at 10:40 p.m. on a report of a man breaking into several unlocked vehicles, said Sgt. Brian Metzler.
Police found the man, Georgy Estevez, 24, of Jersey City, was found hiding under a backyard deck at a 29th Street resident's home and was arrested, Metzler said.

Estevez had money, gift cards, and a cell phone on him that were taken from the vehicles when police arrested him, Metzler said.
Estevez was charged with burglary, theft, and defiant trespassing, Metzler said.

A Bergen County Sheriff's K9 Unit assisted police with finding Estevez.
