Police Use DNA To Charge Man With $25K Burglary From 2015
BREAKING: Randy Pino, 37, allegedly stole the money out of a locked office at the Empress Diner.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Police used DNA evidence to charge a man with a 2015 burglary where $25,000 in cash was stolen.
The cash was stolen out of a locked office at the Empress Diner basement on Sept. 20, 2015.
Detective Sgt. Tim O'Shaughnessy and the Bergen County Sheriff's Bureau of Criminal Investigation processed the scene and found DNA evidence, said Sgt. Brian Metzler.

The DNA was sent to the State Police lab and came back matching Randy Pino, 37, of Garfield, who previously worked at the diner, Metzler said.
Police found Pino March 22 and charged him with the burglary.
