• Fanwood Christmas Houses Take One-Year Holiday Break, But Tradition of Giving Continues (tapinto.net) — Fanwood's beloved Christmas Houses on Paterson Road will go dark this year, but Santa's visit, the Letters for Santa mailbox, and fundraising for the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities will still happen. The Roser family invites neighbors to drop letters, attend the free Dec. 5 Santa event, and continue donating so the tradition of giving stays strong until the full display returns in 2027.
   

• Boys Soccer: Azad, Tse, and Murray Lead Scotch Plains-Fanwood  to 3-0 Win Over Newark Academy (tapinto.net) — Scotch Plains-Fanwood's boys soccer team, representing your local high school community, improved to 9-1 with a 3-0 shutout of Newark Academy, highlighted by first varsity goals from Cam Azad and Finn Murray. Strong defense and key contributions across the roster set up their next matchup against county rival Summit this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
