Whitehouse Wind Symphony Presents Free Holiday Concerts in Readington and Flemington
The Whitehouse Wind Symphony, a community band directed by Branchburg resident James P. Sheeley Jr., will hold three holiday concerts this December at various locations throughout Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
This annual holiday concert series is extremely popular among Hunterdon residents and is one of the band’s most anticipated events, featuring classic Christmas carols and well-loved holiday songs.
The first concert is scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2025, at 7:30 pm at Whitehouse United Methodist Church (the band’s namesake and rehearsal venue), located at 73 Old Highway 28 in Whitehouse. Parking is available behind the church and on the street. WUMC is fully wheelchair accessible via the elevator at the west entrance.
The second concert will be on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Flemington United Methodist Church, located at 116 Main Street in Flemington. Several municipal parking lots are nearby. FUMC is fully wheelchair accessible via a ramp at the Main Street entrance.
The third concert is set for Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Readington Reformed Church, located at 124 Readington Road in Readington. The church has a
gravel parking lot immediately east of the education wing, with additional parking on a grass field behind the cemetery. There is a drop-off area at the rear of the education wing with a chair lift for those with mobility challenges; however, restrooms are only accessible via stairs.
All three concerts are free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to support the band, a non-profit run entirely by volunteer musicians, as well as the host churches. Livestreaming will be offered when possible through Facebook approximately thirty minutes before each concert.
