The Bookshop is delighted to welcome photographer, photography professor, and Fulbright and Guggenheim fellow Laura McPhee to launch her new book, "Silence So Deep It Rings."
The book features McPhee's large-format photographs of the fragile ecosystem in the Great Basin area of America's sparsely-populated West, along with essays about the region by her father John McPhee and an interview of both father and daughter by New Yorker staff writer (and Frenchtown Literary Festival favorite) Ian Frazier, author of the iconic travelogue and history, "Great Plains."
This event is free and all are welcome. Please consider pre-purchasing your signed book to pick up at the event. Join us after the reading at a reception for the author.
