Fred Beans Toyota Hosts Hunterdon Arrowhead Pinewood Derby

Winners Announced for 2019 Race

Flemington, N.J. – Fred Beans Toyota of Flemington recently hosted the Pinewood Derby for the Hunterdon Arrowhead District of the Washington Crossing Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The Fred Beans Family of Dealerships also supported the event by providing trophies for winners and patches for all 70 participants.

“On behalf of Fred Beans Toyota of Flemington and the Fred Beans Family of Dealerships, we would like to congratulate all of the participants in the Hunterdon Arrowhead District Pinewood Derby,” said Chris Hall, database marketing manager/creative for Fred Beans. “The Cub Scouts worked hard to build their cars and demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship during the races. We are always proud to support the youth in our community, especially through an event like this that helps build character and camaraderie.”

The first place car – #501 – belonged to Jack Goodman of Pack 191, with an average speed of 205.38 miles per hour (scale). Evan Portela, Pack 1980, took second place with car #1 and an average speed of 204.40 miles per hour (scale). Rounding out the top three spots was Pack 92’s William Tyers with car #418, which had an average speed of 203.61 miles per hour (scale).

Fred Beans Chevrolet of Doylestown and Fred Beans Kia of Langhorne, Pa., also hosted Pinewood Derby events for the Tohickon District Boy Scouts of America and the Tamanend District Boy Scouts, respectively.
