East Amwell Mayor Tim Mathews told the Grand Opening crowd, “Our Community needs, craves and deserves a Safe, Quiet and Curated place to investigate ideas, think critically and dream.

This re-boot of the South County Library at Ringoes Village will provide just that – a quiet oasis to dream, explore ideas and validate information. East Amwell appreciates the efforts of the Hunterdon County Freeholders and Library Commission and all those involved in bringing the Library back to our community.”

“Every single day during the move the local residents stopped by to say how excited they were about the branch opening and how much the library meant to their community. The Library Commission, library administration and the staff of the South County Branch are as excited as the residents to open this great space and be an active part of the community for many years.”

The new branch features wireless internet, new carpet, an expanded seating area, and library only parking on the Route 31 side of the building.

The library will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and will be closed on Sunday.
