Pedestrian Hit By Car, Airlifted To Hospital In Flemington
The crash happened on Monday morning and is under investigation by Flemington Borough Police and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office.
FLEMINGTON, NJ — A pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital with injuries after being hit by a car in Flemington on Monday.
At around 8:13 a.m., the Flemington Borough Police responded to a crash involving a pedestrian and a Subaru Crosscheck hatchback at the intersection of State Highway 31 and Church Street.
The hatchback was making a left turn at the traffic light onto Route 31 South when it collided with the pedestrian, according to authorities.

The pedestrian was taken by helicopter to the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, where they remain in stable condition.
The driver of the hatchback was not injured.

Members of the Raritan Township Police Department, Readington Township Police Department, Flemington and Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad, Flemington Fire Department, Hunterdon Medical Center Paramedics, and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office helped at the scene.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Flemington Borough Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office.
