Person Injured, Struck By Car On NJ Highway In Flemington

It is not known whether the pedestrian or car had the right of way at the time of the crash.

FLEMINGTON, NJ — A person is recovering after being hit by a car while crossing a street in Flemington earlier this week.

Authorities say the pedestrian was struck around 8:10 a.m. on Monday at the corner of Route 31 and Church Street.

The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office said the car was making a left turn onto Route 31 at the time when they struck the person.

The pedestrian was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for treatment.
