Unity Bank Seeks Classic Car Owners & Sponsors for Car Show

CLINTON, N.J. (May 16, 2019) – Unity Bank is seeking sponsors and classic car owners for the 13th Annual Crusin’ Bob’s Classic Car Show hosted by the bank on Sunday, June 23rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Unity’s Clinton headquarters, 64 Old Highway 22. All proceeds of the fun-filled community event benefit Family Promise of Hunterdon County and Family Promise of Warren County.

“For the last 12 years, the car show has been a fun way to support Family Promise’s valuable work in the community,” said Unity Bank President & CEO James A. Hughes. “Our employees and the community love the car show because it is an enjoyable family event for everyone with free face painting, music, games, prizes and food. The participation of sponsors and classic car owners is key to making the event a success for Family Promise so we encourage those interested to contact the bank.”

The emcee for the event is Doctor D. Entertainment and Lulu Laughalot Entertainment will provide face painting and balloon art. Admission to the event is free.

For car owners who pre-register, a $10 donation reserves a spot in the show. Car owner registration on the day of the show is $15. Pre-registration is open until June 19th. The lot opens for car registration at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the show. The car show last year drew about 150 automobiles. Classic car owners compete for cash prizes, judged by participants, in different categories. Please visit unitybank.com/carshow/ for more information on registration.

Family Promise of Hunterdon County and Family Promise of Warren County provide services to both help overcome and prevent homelessness through the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) – a network of congregations and volunteers who provide overnight/weekend shelter, home-cooked meals, and companionship to families who enter the program. Comprehensive case management, licensed counseling services and a donation program are also available.
