• Two Airlifted After Head-On Crash Injures Three in Lacey Township (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Forked River firefighters helped manage a serious head-on crash on Route 539 in Lacey Township Sunday night, where three people were hurt and two had to be airlifted to trauma centers. Working with Whiting crews and local EMS, they secured the scene, set up a helicopter landing zone, and turned the investigation over to Lacey Township Police.
