Teenagers Killed After Car Jumps Curb In North Jersey
Two teens were killed as they walked near a North Jersey school Saturday. A third teen is in critical condition, authorities say.

Two New Jersey teens, including one from Bergen County, were killed Saturday night after a car jumped a curb and struck them on the sidewalk near a Hudson County school.
Authorities say a third teen, 17, was critically injured in the incident, which happened in North Bergen around 9:15 p.m. at the corner of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and 26th Street near Union City High School.
According to a statement released by Hudson County Sheriff Frank X. Schillari, the teens killed were ages 16 and 17. An arrest has been made but no details regarding that arrest were announced.

ABC7 identified the victims as Noel Herrera of Cliffside Park and Bryan Rodriguez of Union City. Friends told the network the boys were walking home from a party.
An eyewitness told NBC's New York affiliate "there was a bang, like something hit." When she came outside, she saw the boys lying on the ground.

Authorities have not said why the car jumped the curb. Schillari said no further information will be released at this time.
