30-Minute Delay On George Washington Bridge

FORT LEE, NJ - There is a 30-minute delay on both levels of the George Washington Bridge heading east due to traffic from an earlier accident on the Cross Bronx Expressway, police said.

Residual traffic from the accident is causing the delay, police said.

Traffic is backed up about three-and-a-half miles near exit 70B on Interstate 95 due to traffic, 511nj.org reported Tuesday morning.
