CHILDREN & FAMILIES INVITED TO "NEIGHBORHOOD TRUNK-OR-TREAT" AT THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN NORTH BERGEN
ACADEMY OF EARLY EDUCATION TO CELEBRATE GRAND OPENING BY HOSTING SAFE HALLOWEEN EVENT ON SATURDAY, OCT. 31

The Learning Experience® (TLE®), one of the nation’s fastest growing Academies of Early Education for children six weeks to five years old, in North Bergen is celebrating its grand opening by hosting a safe Halloween-themed “Neighborhood Trunk-or-Treat” event on Saturday, October 31, 2015, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 7108 Kennedy Boulevard.
At this free event open to the community, children will be saying “trunk or treat” instead of “trick or treat” as they participate in a fun alternative to the traditional door-to-door version of Halloween. Turning the backs of more than a dozen cars, minivans, and sport utility vehicles into the new front porch, trunk-or-treating brings Halloween to the safety of TLE®’s parking lot, where children and parents can go from vehicle to vehicle to view decorated trunks, admire costumes and collect tasty treats.
The event will also feature a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony, contest prizes for best decorated trunk and best costume for children six weeks to five years old, and Bubbles the Elephant® (TLE® mascot). Children and their parents will be able to interact with first responders from the Fire Department as well as “Touch-a-Truck”, a hands-on opportunity to explore a fire trucks and meet the people who protect and serve the community. Local community partner Dunkin’ Donuts will be participating in the event as well.
