Fort Lee Police Find Alleged Arsonist In The Woods: Report
Man said his name was 'Bruce Wayne' and 'Christopher Reeve' when approached by police, the report said.

FORT LEE, N.J. – A Connecticut man wanted in a series of pizza-shop arsons was arrested in the borough Saturday, the Republican American reported.
Scott Basile was arrested after a Fort Lee police officer saw him “acting suspiciously” and walking with a bicycle, the report said. When Basile saw the officer, he reportedly left the bike and fled into the woods; the officer allegedly saw Basile come out of the woods without his bike and asked him questions.
Basile gave the names of ‘Bruce Wayne,” Batman’s alter ego, and “Christopher Reeve,” the actor who played Superman in the titular movie series, according to the report.

Fort Lee police charged him with hindering apprehension. He will be extradited to Connecticut on arson charges, the report said. He allegedly attempted to set fire to a pizza shop in Waterbury, Conn., the report said.
Fort Lee police could not be reached for comment.
