Fort Lee's Verismo Opera Launches Free Summer Concert Series

The New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera, a nonprofit organization based in Fort Lee, New Jersey, launches its 2016 summer concert series featuring principal artists performing romantic arias from the world's most famous operas and Broadway tunes. The concerts are free and open to the public. Verismo Opera is the house opera company of the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, New Jersey.

Concert Schedule

• Thursday, July 7. 7:00 p.m. Tenafly Davis-Johnson Park. 137 Engle Street. Tenafly, New Jersey. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at The Clinton Inn, 145 Dean Drive, Tenafly.
• Wednesday, July 27. 7:00 p.m. Oradell Library. 375 Kinderkamack Road. Oradell, New Jersey.
• Wednesday, August 3 to Thursday, August 4. 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Saint Rocco's 87th Annual Italian Feast. 110 Main Street. Fort Lee, New Jersey. Hosted by Saint Rocco Italian-American Mutual Aid Society. Stop by Verismo Opera's booth and learn more about our upcoming productions and concerts. Verismo Opera's concert date and time during the feast will be announced in the coming weeks.
• Sunday, August 14. 2:00 p.m. Fort Lee Public Library. 320 Main Street. Fort Lee, New Jersey.
