Japanese outreach begins at Holy Name Medical Center

Holy Name Medical Center announces new Japanese treatment options.

On Friday, January 17, Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, announced establishment of an extension of its Asian healthcare outreach to include Japanese residents.

Encouraged by its Korean outreach program, begun in 2008, Chinese(2015), Filipino (2016), Holy Name has enlisted volunteers to assist Japanese patients and established a Japanese Medical Program, under the slogan, "It's not just our job to serve every member of the community. It's our mission."

In addition to trained volunteers fluent in Japanese and English, testing for common medical problems will be provided.
