A break to winter on the way

A break to winter is on the way with temperatures rebounding into the 40's and even lower 50's, however first we have to get through some periods of snow for tomorrow morning.  The heaviest snowfall will be focused over the northern interior, specifically over Connecticut.

Today through tonight, clear skies will give way to broken cloud cover by tonight.  Winds will veer from the northwest to northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid 30's for highs this afternoon.  Tonight, temperatures will fall into the upper 10's to lower 20's over the interior and lower to mid 20's along the coast.

An area of low pressure will approach from the west with snow developing throughout the region by tomorrow morning.  The snow will mix with rain later in the morning and in the afternoon, especially over the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas on south.  Winds will back to the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 30's over the interior and upper 30's to lower 40's along the coast.
