After some very brutal arctic air where temperatures were at least 30 degrees below normal for afternoon highs, temperatures are finally rebound to near normal levels. In fact, by this weekend temperatures will rise to above normal levels before the winter barrage returns for next week.
Today through tomorrow, high pressure will be in control with scattered cloud cover expected. Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures this afternoon will rise into the mid to upper 30's for highs. Tomorrow, temperatures will range from the upper 10's to lower 20's for lows and upper 30's to lower 40's for highs.
A cold front will move through on Sunday with scattered showers, changing over to snow showers by Sunday evening. Winds will veer from the southwest to northwest at 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures will range from the upper 20's to lower 30's for lows and lower to mid 40's for highs.

An area of low pressure will pass to the south of New Jersey on Monday with a period of light to moderate snow expected for southeastern Pennsylvania, southern and central New Jersey, and the south side of Long Island. Snow showers expected further north. Temperatures will range from the upper 10's to lower 20's for lows and upper 20's to lower 30's for highs.
Clouds will increase on Tuesday as an area of low pressure organizes in the Mississippi River Valley. The area of low pressure will lift northward towards the Ohio River Valley on Tuesday night and then redevelop off the coast on Wednesday. Periods of snow can be expected on Tuesday evening and then change over to sleet and freezing rain followed by periods of rain. The exact track and intensify of the low pressure system is still uncertain along with the change over times. However, there is potential for significant snow and ice accumulations before any change over to rain. Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the upper 10's to lower 20's for lows and lower to mid 30's for highs.
