Colts Neck Police Sergeant Charged With Theft After Allegedly Spending On-Duty Hours at Home (tapinto.net) β Prosecutors in Freehold have charged a Colts Neck police sergeant with third-degree theft, alleging he spent large portions of on-duty and overtime shifts at home while being paid. Investigators say he even logged responses to calls he never answered, raising broader concerns for Monmouth County residents about oversight of taxpayer-funded police time and accountability.
