Historical Association Receives Grant To Paint Taylor-Butler House in Middletown

The grant will pay for the exterior painting of the Taylor-Butler House in Middletown

Monmouth County Historical Association President, Claire M. Knopf, stood with Freeholder Lillian Burry and Commissioner Barbara Kolarsick-Harrigan during the Monmouth County Historical Commission’s Annual Awards Presentation on Monday, February 25th at the Hall of Records in Freehold.  

At the presentation President Knopf thanked the Commission for their 2013 grant to the Association and talked about the funded project, the exterior painting of the historic Taylor-Butler House in Middletown.  This work represents ongoing restoration of this structure.
