TWO WEDDINGS: DOUBLE TROUBLE

This year each girl's getting married;

one in August and one in November,

with 6,000 minute arrangements

that are impossible to remember.

I helped each girl with the selection

of her FABULOUS wedding gown,

and when each stood there in such splendor,

there wasn't a dry eye around.

To pare down the guest lists, each daughter

has nearly maniacally tried,

but when lists are finally agreed upon,

folks have moved, separated or died.

The "venue's" then picked for the wedding;

places each couple genuinely likes,

but they MUST choose it NOW

'cause some way or somehow,

if they wait they are faced with price hikes.

The photographer's next in succession--

is it cool video or just still?

The girls fought and stewed,

"Videos won't be viewed,

and you know that the photo albums will!"

The DJs then showed their equipment

and music on several boards.

You'd think that their plans are

an extravaganza

that's fit for the OSCAR AWARDS.

The florists displayed their arrangements;

EVERY flower found on this green earth.

The beauty of each bloom

disguises the doom

when you learn what each petal is worth.

So now as each wedding approaches

and the craziness finally subsides,

we pray life gives JOYS

to our girls and their boys,
