Freehold Schools Announce Early Dismissal For Feb. 20
The early dismissals for the Borough and the Township were announced due to predictions with the winter storm. See dismissal times inside.

Officials in the Freehold Borough and Freehold Township school districts have announced early dismissals for Wednesday, Feb. 20, due to the impending winter storm.
Freehold Township's announcement, posted on the district's website, said:
"Due to the forecast for inclement weather, the Freehold Township Schools will operate on an early dismissal schedule on Wednesday, February 20. Lunches will not be served and after-school care is canceled. "

Barkalow and Eisenhower will dismiss at 11:40 a.m. Applegate, Errickson and West Freehold will dismiss at 12:20 p.m. Catena and Donovan will dismiss at 12:50 p.m.
And "Due to the timing of the storm, the ECLC (Early Childhood Learning Center) WILL BE CLOSED. After school and evening activities are canceled," the district notice said.

The Freehold Boro announcement gave the following early dismissal times:
Freehold Intermediate School, 12:10 p.m.; Park Avenue Elementary, 12:50 p.m.; Freehold Learning Center, 1:20 p.m. All after-school events on Wednesday, including 21st Century, are canceled.
