I'd like to mention a great singing opportunity. On November 25, The American Festival Choir will be singing the world premiere of "The Light of Christmas" at Carnegie Hall. This musical piece was written by Phil Barfoot and Rebecca J. Peck and will be released to the public in April, 2014. We have been invited to take part in this performance and I would like to extend the invitation to anyone in the community that loves to sing. There will be a kick-off score reading this Friday, Sept 6 from 7pm till 9pm at First Presbyterian Church, Freehold. I have the printed music and also was given practice audio in both the complete music and separate (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) parts, which you can download. The Red Bank Catholic High School choir will also be participating in this great event. We are hoping to have a total of 350 voices in the choir, coming from all over the USA.
